I stayed at the Ibis Agen at the last minute due to missed train connection. Booked at the last minute and everything was fine. Comfy bed, friendly staff, good location I picked it for its generous check-in and check-out times (2pm to noon). Other places had like 5pm to 10am. I had to work a bit and it was nice that there was a proper desk in the room and good wifi.

To me, most Ibis are efficient, soulless and functional. This one manages not to be: it’s fairly small, seems well-run, desk staff friendly and very helpful. Most of all, it has a superb location: ideal base for strolling round a delightful town, and a short walk from the station.

This is a town centre location in a narrow street. Close to shops and restaurants. If arriving by car, you must prebook the excellent car park at the rear. Very friendly welcome from English speaking staff. Lift to all floors. Breakfast OK. Air con in bedroom worked well. Very good value.
